In this session, students will explore the many forms of energy and learn how North Dakota generates electricity and other power sources. The class will build a foundation for understanding how energy is created, transformed, and used in our daily lives, while highlighting its role in improving our communities and quality of life. Through interactive, hands-on activities, students will experience how energy works in action. The session will also introduce career patheways in North Dakota’s growing energy sector, showing how STEM skills connect to exciting opportunities and prepare students for the future. Come learn and explore circuit builds and the basics of electricity flow through circuits. In this session, students will become familiar with circuitry components like photoresistors, push buttons, batteries, LED’s, capacitors, and breadboards. Each build increases in complexity, and all components are reusable so that builds may be disassembled and recreated! Two 50-minute sessions and one 25- minute class. Limit 16 Students. (25)
