Class A: You can be a Teacher!
This class will be an opportunity for students to learn about the import nature of teaching. There will be a discussion about their thoughts about teaching. The class will also include encourage-ment to enter the teaching field through volunteering, subbing, paraprofessional work, and becoming a teacher. (24)
Class B: Nursing Roles
Learn about the different roles in nursing, education needs and a demonstration on nursing skills. Limit 8 Students. (24)
Class C: The Mysteries of Banking Revealed
Learners will learn why banks or credit unions are important to their financial stability and how they can be used in a positive way to help their future. (24)
Class D: Exploring Criminal Justice & CSI
Overview of Criminal Justice related policing, corrections, courts and hands-on activity with policing, corrections, and processing of an age-appropriate scene. (24)
Class E: Land Surveying and Mapping
Discovering Land Sureying and how we, as Professional Land Surveyors, help build the world around us by using technology such as Laser Scanners, Robots, GPS and Drones. (24)
Class F: Careers in Veterinary Medicine
Talk about the different roles in Veterinary Medicine and what it takes to be an assistant, a technologist, a veterinarian. Show and tell with veterinary items. Limit 8 Students. (24)
Class G: Power UP! Exploring Energy and Future Careers
Explore various forms of energy and methods used in ND to generate electricity and other power sources. Includes hands-on activities to experience firsthand how energy is transformed and used. Limit 24 Students. (24)
