Class A: Worforce in MT
Learning about how to be involved in an apprenticeship out of high school; will have three stations with electrical hands-on activities for kids to explore (age appropriate); will have handouts with explanations about electricity stations and other information about how to be an electrician, how much money someone can make and other benefits of entering the electrical trades. 5th grade and above. Limit 24 Students. (24)
Class B: The Benefits of Trees in Urban and Community Forestry
Cover information about environmental, economic and social benefits of trees in urban and community forests. (24)
Class C: Radio Broadcasting & Music
Take a look into what these jobs are like and many of the day-to-day tasks they require! (24)
Class D: How to put together an investigation
Students will be told that a crime has taken place. They will learn basic investigative techniques and be given tools to build the investigation in order to present it to the prosecutor for prosecution. (24)
Class E: Controls & Automation
The world is more and more automated every day. Learn about a challenging and rewarding career in controls and automation. How do automation make our lies safer and more comfortable? How do controls – conserve energy? How can automation save lives? Inputs and Outputs with logic in between. Hands-on demonstration and you will find the answers to these questions in this class. (24)
Class F: Clinical Care of Patients
Brief overview of school required to become a doctor, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner, followed by what we do differently than the nurses and what our days consist of in the clinic. Will also explain how we do physical exams and what we are looking for. Stethoscopes will be provided. (24)
Class H: Locally Grown Flowers
Where do bouquets come from? In this class, we will show you a behind the scenes look of how we grow premium cut flowers to use in our floral designs. (24)
Class I: The World We Build
Explore the ways in which the construction industry builds the world around us. (24)
Class J: Career on Wheels
Students will get to see the vehicles that make their town work and keep them safe. (24)
Class K: "Road to Life"
Games that will run the student through occupations that create the Road of Life!! (24)
