Class A: Manufacture a Window with Marvin
Have you ever wondered how manufacturing works? Join Marvin as we discuss how we go about making as many quality windows as we can in a day for people’s homes. There are lots of jobs that make this possible, from engineers to production workers, everyone has a role to play. Limit 24 Students. (24)
Class B: Career Paths in Aviation
Steam as a tool to foster entrepreneurship, problem solving, using critical thinking and career paths in aviation. (24)
Class C: Career on Wheels
Learn how a vehicle can help you do your job. (24)
Class D: Lessons About Money
A presentation that introduces students to age-appropriate financial concepts such as making money, choosing a job, saving money, wants vs needs and other topics. (24)
Class E: Land Surveying and Mapping
Discovering Land Surveying and how we, as Land Surveyors, help build the world around us by using technology such as Laser scanners, Robots, GPS and Drones. (24)
Class F: Life of a Soybean
We will walk through the commercial and operations of a soybean plant. The processing of a soybean from delivery of product to the crushing and extracting to create our end products of soybean hulls, meal, and oil as well as the many career opportunities. (24)
Class G: Fork to Farm: Feeding the world one soybean at at time
Learn how soybeans from our region end up at food companies around the world. You will learn about our entire value chain and how every step needs to work together to ensure food on the grocery shelf. (24)
Class H: Discovery Japan in North Dakota
This class will provide students with an opportunity to experience unique Japanese culture. Limit 16 Students. (24)
